Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Outline ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Outline is a booking management platform designed specifically for tattoo artists. Our service includes:

• Online booking system for tattoo appointments
• Flash tattoo management and gallery
• Deposit collection and payment processing
• Google Calendar integration for schedule management
• Client communication tools
• Customizable booking forms and pages

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use the service for any commercial purpose other than tattoo business management
• Impersonate any person or entity

5. Google Calendar Integration

When you choose to integrate your Google Calendar account:

• You grant us permission to read your calendar list, check your free/busy status, and create, update, or delete events related to your Outline bookings
• We will only access calendar data strictly necessary for booking functionality (scopes: calendar.events, calendar.calendarlist.readonly, calendar.freebusy)
• We do not read, store, or share the content of your existing calendar events
• You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or by disconnecting in your Outline settings
• When you disconnect, your OAuth tokens are immediately revoked at Google and deleted from our systems
• You must comply with Google's Terms of Service when using this integration

Outline's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Payment Terms

Our service uses Stripe for payment processing. By using our payment features, you agree to:

• Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Pay all applicable fees for your subscription plan
• Provide accurate payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees
• Understand that subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Client Fees: We do not charge any fees to your clients. All client payments go directly to you, minus standard Stripe processing fees.

7. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Outline and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the service (including flash designs, client information, and booking details). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of providing our services.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding your personal information.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Outline, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Outline and its licensee and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the service.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
